Excellent Credit Score

July - 28 - 2010 Author: Elizabeth Moore Respond

The economy is driven by consumers and their buying power is enhanced through lines of credit available to them. Banks and other financial institutions whose business is to offer lines of credit and loans, need an effective system to evaluate the creditworthiness of loan applicants. For this purpose, credit scores were introduced. An excellent credit score almost guarantees that you will be favorably considered for a loan by any financial institution. The question that often keeps popping up all the time is, ‘What is an excellent credit score?’. In this article I’ll provide an estimate of what constitutes an excellent credit score rating.

About Credit Scores

In most countries, including the USA, the system used to make an objective evaluation of creditworthiness and debt repaying ability of a loan applicant, is the usage of a credit score system. Read more…

Cheap Renters Insurance

July - 26 - 2010 Author: Elizabeth Moore Respond

Insurance has become a vital necessity in today’s world of unpredictable events. You will typically find several different types of insurance in the market, with each having its own repayment potential and coverage policies. Commonly used insurances are auto insurance, home insurance, medical insurance, life insurance, and many others. But what about if you are residing in a rented apartment, and need coverage for your belongings? In such a condition, there is a different kind of insurance which is generally known as renters insurance. And getting cheap renters insurance can be a difficult task; but can be done with some considerations in mind.

What is Renters Insurance?

Many renters have a misconception that the landlord’s insurance will cover their belongings in case of unfortunate events such as floods, fire, or theft. Read more…

Second Mortgage Shows Open Balance on Credit Report After Foreclosure

July - 26 - 2010 Author: Samantha Davis 1 Response

Q. Arizona is an anti-deficiency state, so purchase money lenders cannot seek repayment of any deficiency between the trustee sale price and the mortgage owed at time of default. There are also many scenarios where the second position non-purchase money (HELOC for example) and even short sale deficiency fall under the anti-deficiency protections.

So my question is: when loans fall under the anti-deficiency protection statute, are those creditors allowed to report the deficiencies (or full loan amounts) as open debt balances? It doesn’t seem right that they report debt that cannot be collected as open debt. Are the state anti-deficiency laws and case law that apply to anti-deficiency protection, a basis for getting those accounts deleted, or at least moved to $0 balance?

Would you have to dispute directly with the creditor?

Dollar Still Bearish

July - 25 - 2010 Author: Christine Allen Respond

The European stress tests are behind us and now it feels like we could be entering the dog days of summer. Many Senior FX traders in Europe take the entire month of August off for summer holidays which suggests that position squaring could be their top priority this week. However with the euro taking another stab at the 1.30 level, the Australian dollar trading at a 2 month high and the New Zealand dollar reaching a 6 month high today, it is hard categorize the price action as boring. Stronger U.S. economic data, a more optimistic outlook from FedEx Corp and relief that the stress tests in Europe are over has helped to promote additional risk appetite in the financial markets. As a result, the dollar traded lower against every major currency.

The Weakness of USD/JPY

However despite the improvement in risk appetite, the weakness of USD/JPY is telling us that investors are still very bearish dollars.

Consider These Things Before Starting A Business Selling Other Peoples Product

July - 23 - 2010 Author: Christine Allen Respond

The first thing you should do is look for a product with resell rights to sell to your customers. When looking for one, you will want to take the following factors into consideration:

  1. Resell rights.  The product must have resell rights in order for you to sell and keep 100% of the profits. If the product has no resell rights, you cannot use it for your reselling purpose.
  2. High in quality. A poor quality product will hardly make you any sale let alone back end profits.
  3. Demand. Are people seeking for information or solutions found in that product you are prospecting?
  4. Good sales letter and follow up mails. If the principal’s sales letter and follow up emails do not persuade you to purchase his or her product then it is palpable that the result will be poor for you too as a reseller as you will also be using the principal’s sales letter.
  5. Rare or uncommon. It p
