Zumiez now open at La Palmera

CORPUS CHRISTI Zumiez, a store for surfers, skateboarders and snowboarders, now is open at La Palmera.
The store offers gear, clothing and accessories and is one of 400 in the U.S. Founded by Tom Champion in 1978, the Washington-based store sells shirts, shorts, pants, shoes, watches, wallets, sunglasses and toys.
The 3,635 square-foot store, next to Hot Topic, has 15 employees.
