NuStar Energy buys share in Asphalt

CORPUS CHRISTI NuStar Energy (NYSE: NS) recently announced it had reached an agreement to acquire a share of Asphalt Holdings Inc. for $44.1 million. The acquisition was expected to be immediate.
Those shares belonged to Denham Capital, a Boston-based private equity firm and include operations involving the receipt, storage and distribution of asphalt and crude oil via marine vessels, tank trucks and rail cars.
NuStar is a publicly traded company based in San Antonio. It has more than 8,000 miles of pipeline, 89 storage facilities and two asphalt refineries.
