Psychotherapist Job Description

August - 24 - 2010 Author: Elizabeth Moore Respond

Talking to the patients everyday, listening patiently to their innermost thoughts and feelings, had become a routine for her. Her manner of speaking and behaving with the patients was persuasive, warm and assuring. She advised them on how to deal with the psychological problems they could be having, helping them calm down, relax and look at things in a better light had become a routine thing for Susan. That is what she loved to do and that is what gave her immense satisfaction – to help people conquer their wayward psyche, which is, to say the least unfathomable.

July Existing-Home Sales Fall as Expected but Prices Rise

August - 23 - 2010 Author: Samantha Davis Respond

Existing-home sales were sharply lower in July following expiration of the home buyer tax credit but home prices continued to gain, according to the National Association of Realtors®.

Existing-home sales1, which are completed transactions that include single-family, townhomes, condominiums and co-ops, dropped 27.2 percent to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 3.83 million units in July from a downwardly revised 5.26 million in June, and are 25.5 percent below the 5.14 million-unit level in July 2009.

Sales are at the lowest level since the total existing-home sales series launched in 1999, and single family sales – accounting for the bulk of transactions – are at the lowest level since May of 1995.

Lawrence Yun, NAR chief economist, said a soft sales pace likely will continue for a few additional months. “Consumers rationally jumped into the market before the deadline for the home buyer tax credit expired. Si

Mac’s Barbecue opens new location in Corpus Christi

August - 22 - 2010 Author: Zachary Sanchez Respond

Mac’s Barbecue #Fore on South Alameda Street is opening a location inside the American Bank Food Court on Carancahua Street. Mac’s Pit Stop is scheduled to open by mid-September.

The uptown location, facing Tancahua Street, will join Tai Pei Café, Subway sandwich shop, Burrito Bistro and the Backstreet Burger Co. Jerry Martinez, owner of both Mac’s locations, said the uptown store will offer a smaller menu than the restaurant.

It will offer five meats — brisket, sausage, turkey breast, pork loin and barbecue chicken salad — and 7 sides. Martinez is training a five-person team for his uptown location, which will focus on fast service catering to the lunchtime crowd.
